We must obey God and defy tyrants! The apostles gave us the example in Scripture - Acts 5:29 "But Peter and the apostles answered, “We must obey God rather than men."" The image itself is very symbolic. The crown represents a Tyrant who does not obey God's law and is spiritually dead as symbolized by the skull. The sword piercing the skull represents the Sword of the Spirit. What can defeat Tyrants? The Gospel message and He who is the Truth. When a king disobeys God's law and therefore acts unjustly, he must be called back. But if they refuse to harken to wisdom and continue to violate God's law and their role laid out in Romans 13, they must be defied. reminder that the pulpit, whether in church or in our everyday conversations,
is not a platform for performance but a sacred space where truth is proclaimed.
Scripture
warns: “Let not many of you become teachers, for you will be judged with
greater strictness.” – James 3:1
1.
Approach God’s Word with reverence – Before sharing, pray for understanding and
humility. Don’t rush the text; let it shape you first.
2.
Speak truth, not popularity – Every conversation is a “mini pulpit.” Choose
truth over applause.
3.
Serve with fear and love – Let the fear of the Lord drive your obedience, not
pride or position.
4.
Remember who you represent – You’re not standing for yourself but for the King
of Kings.
5.
Stay dependent on grace – Trembling before God keeps us humble and reminds us
that His power works through weak vessels.

Christian Resistance in This Dark Hour

Every time you comply you are aiding and abetting tyrants in accomplishing their evil. You are aiding and abetting a great lie. You are selling tomorrow’s freedom for today’s convenience. We must offer Christian resistance.
Christian resistance involves and demands three things: 1. Repentance, 2. Fighting, and 3. Building. And I do not mean these in that particular order – all three happen intermixed and ongoing.
